  • DEPOSIT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER

    Overview
    The Deposit Relationship Manager provide banking services to high net worth, Business and Commercial Clients.
    • Location: San Gabriel - CA 
    • Job Type: Full-time

    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Supports and develops new and additional deposits, cash management and bank services revenue.
    • Manages a portfolio of deposit clients.
    • Prepares Cash Management documentation and recommends ACH, Wire, and RDC limits for their prospects and clients.
    • Maintains ongoing visibility with client base.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, and/or five years of experience in bank operations or back office operations role.
    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
    • Thorough knowledge of bank services and products.
    • Working knowledge of all branch operations and functions including Central Operations and Cash Management.
    • Thorough knowledge of compliance regulations including BSA.
    • Working knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
    • Advanced knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
    • At least five years of experience in bank operations.
    SKILLS/ABILITIES:
    • Demonstrates leadership skills. Ability to manage, supervise, instruct, and coach.
    • Solid analytical abilities. Ability to make independent decisions and utilize sound judgement.

  • SBA LOAN OFFICER

    Overview
    The SBA Loan Officer will bring in new SBA business relationships (loans and deposits) through business development, with a core focus on increasing the bank’s regional SBA market share.
    • Location: San Gabriel - CA, Irvine - CA
    • Job Type: Full-time
    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Generates, retains, and expands new SBA lending and deposit relationships.
    • Network with centers of influence including accountants, SBA brokers, and attorneys, including but not limited to regional CDC’s, SBDCs, and volunteer arms of the SBA
    • Actively solicit targeted franchises for opportunities to secure SBA 7(a) referrals.
    • Ensures all SBA eligibility, regulations and underwriting guidelines are met and that the proposed structure conforms to SBA Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines.
    • Negotiate, structure, and gain approval on loans using the Bank’s established credit policy and procedures. This includes structuring the loan for sale on the secondary market, if applicable.
    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of SBA lending requirements and all SBA Operations updates.
    • Actively participate in business banking sales events. Work closely with internal contacts to service clients.
    • Skilled in cross-selling bank’s financial products and services.
    • With bank’s growth-oriented strategy, executes a disciplined approach to achieving or exceeding specific business development goals from management.
    • Negotiates loan proposals, prepares term sheets, and, once terms agreed, assists underwriters in gathering financial data in connection with submitting loan requests for credit approval.
    • Monitors accounts to identify potential credit problems and assures proper loan documentation.
    • Engage Doc Prep or approved SBA closing attorney
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
    • Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, balance sheet and income statement analysis, and collateral valuation.
    • Thorough understanding of SBA SOP.
    • Complete knowledge of SBA lending requirements, loan documentation and servicing requirements.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software used for spreading financial information.
    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with SBA.
    SKILLS/ABILITIES:
    • Strong business development, communication, and negotiation abilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Overview
    The VP, Relationship Manager will bring in new business relationships (loans and deposits) through business development, with a core focus on increasing the bank’s regional market share.
    • Location: San Gabriel - CA, Irvine - CA
    • Job Type: Full-time

    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Generates, retains, and expands new lending and deposit relationships.
    • Willing and able to travel within the bank’s service area.
    • Skilled in cross-selling bank’s financial products and services.
    • With bank’s growth-oriented strategy, executes a disciplined approach to achieving or exceeding specific business development goals from management.
    • As a trusted advisor to clients, provides insights and ideas for enhancing client’s cash flow, profitability, and efficiency.
    • As portfolio expands, manages profitability, credit quality, assists underwriters with normal and customary receipt of financial statements, covenant compliance, etc.
    • Negotiates loan proposals, prepares term sheets, and, once terms agreed, assists underwriters in gathering financial data in connection with submitting loan requests for credit approval.
    • Monitors accounts to identify potential credit problems and assures proper loan documentation.
    • Participates in community and professional activities in order to expand personal network of business contacts for development of new business.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
    • Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, balance sheet and income statement analysis, and collateral valuation.
    • Thorough understanding of income property lending, C&I lending.
    • Complete knowledge of commercial lending requirements, loan documentation and servicing requirements.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software used for spreading financial information.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
    • Minimum of 7 years of related lending experience.

    SKILLS/ABILITIES:
    • Strong business development, communication, and negotiation abilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
